The First OFFICIAL Dedication to
ROGER BART
"They like me! I think they're swell!"

Roger Bart!!! Hey there kiddees! Welcome to the first Official Roger Bart Fanclub! My first Roger "experience" was listening to the Hercules soundtrack (yes, I happen to like Disney fliks). "Go the Distance" is a great song and Roger sings it so powerfully and with so much heart that it is truly moving. Then, on January 23rd, as I opened my playbill and began to read all the "Who's Who" and realized that he was the singing voice of Hercules, I instantly knew I would love his performance. As the show started and each character came on stage reciting their opening monologue, I couldn't wait for all the excitement to start. And as the chorus sang, the stage went black once again, and a silhouette walked in front of me (I was in CC 113 in case you are wondering) and announced, "It's truly a dog's life, a life of challenges..." I was immediately ecstatic. And so came my adoration of the one, the only...ROGER BART! The Flying Ace
Three days later I was still so pumped. My mom came to pick me up from a yearbook meeting. She mentioned to me that my neighbors were going to see YAGMCB that evening. Being a Tuesday and also the fact that I didn't have tickets I was hesitant to start thinking anything but I couldn't help it. So ..... I went! I caught a ride with my neighbors to the city(THANK YOU GUYS!) ordered a ticket through Tele-Charge on the car phone and went to the city wearing my uniform (how retarded is that?) and no coat (it was in my locker)(mind you it was JANUARY 26th, just a tad cold). The show was great and I was actually sitting next to Mark Kudish (Kristin Chenoweth's fianc). After the show, we were going to leave but I mentioned how the cast is so nice and would come out very soon to see the audience and SNOOPYfans and kids. When Roger came out and saw me in my uniform (it's a plaid skirt, white shirt, and navy blue sweater, need I say more?) he commented, "Is this the newest trend from the Gap?" All I could reply was that I loved the show and cast and was such an extreme fan that I came right from school to see them. Thank God he found it humorous! He was so nice and the kids loved him and they found his autograph creative. Then Ali and Pete went that Saturday and absolutely loved him! Quote, "he completely blew us away." And not only do we adore him by Snoopy, but he also knew Jonathon Larson. How cool? All you RENTheads out there, grab your books. Flip to the "Superbia" & "Peasant Feast" pictures...THAT'S OUR ROGER! Wanna see him some more? Go to the pictures page! If you have any of our favorite beagle pictured with or without you or ANY, please send them my way! Greatly appreciated!
